Acts Completed . . . Or Are We?

We just completed going through the Book of Acts after 110 lessons, and 700 pages worth of notes!  That may seem impressive to those who are not true followers of Christ, but reading a Book for completion is not what God has called us to do.  His desire is that we read His Word for comprehension and live it throughout our live to completion.   "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.  For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.  But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does."  James 1:22-25
So now that we've completed Acts, and since we know that the point of Acts is the Spirit's building of the church through the teaching of the gospel, the simple question is are we living acts?  Here are a few challenges form John MacArthur Jr.'s commentary in regards to the gospel:
• Are we sharing the gospel whenever and wherever he have opportunity?
• Is our message clothed in humility and graciousness?
• Are we sharing truths that are biblically and doctrinally accurate?
• Are we sharing tirelessly and incessantly, bringing people to a decision?
• Are we selectively preaching, or are we sharing God's love with everyone?
• Is the core of what we are sharing Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, and Messiah.
Let us live what we've read and may God get all the glory!
